In my Macintosh HD there are 2 extra folders, private and usr. I know these are system files and cannot be deleted and that on a normal Mac OS X they are hidden folders but for some reason they have been unhidden on my Mac, is there anyway i can get them back hidden, have tried using 3rd party SW but it says that there are not enough permissions and i don't want to mess things up by changing the permissions on the Macintosh HD. I have been observing this from the time i was running 10.6.3. Any suggestions would be helpful.!
Thanx in advance.
John
